OVERVIEW
Experience the capital city of Nairobi from the unique former residence of Anna Trzebinski, the Nairobi-based fashion designer whose work merges European sensibility with African tribal artisanship. Next comes the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the last 2 Northern Rhinos in the world, as well as other endangered species like Grevy’s zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest and wild dog. The Maasai Mara Game Reserve is a must-see on every itinerary due to the sheer numbers of wildlife present here, and wind up your safari with relaxing days spent on Kenya’s beautiful coast, fronting the warm, turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.
Morning arrival into Nairobi, and transfer to Hemingways Eden, the former home of the Nairobi–based fashion designer, Anna Trzebinksi. Today is about settling in as well as going through the private gallery space that houses the Trzebinski family collection of artworks, creations and artefacts collected over a lifetime of travel.
Overnight at Hemingways Eden
A day full of activities in Nairobi, visiting the Giraffe Centre to feed these gentle giants and learn more about them, and then a semi-exclusive visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you can see the orphaned elephants and watch how they interact with their beloved keepers (subject to availability and early booking)
Overnight and breakfast at Hemingways Eden.
The day begins with a morning flight to Nanyuki, and a drive to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to Black and White Rhinos. After settling into your tented camp, and lunch overlooking the plains, head out into the Conservancy for your first game drive in Kenya, in open sided vehicles. You also have the opportunity to try out the electric solar powered vehicle on safari, ensuring you not only a carbon neutral drive, but a silent one too.
Full-board and overnight at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp
A light breakfast taken early in the morning will serve you well on your run with the rangers. The rangers run every morning at 7 am, to keep fit, and you have an opportunity to join them today. Please note only a maximum of 6 persons are allowed so an early booking is recommended. Suitable running shoes are required, and one must be able to run 5km without stopping, in order to participate. After the run, share a cup of coffee with the rangers and learn how they keep the wildlife safe. Next comes a visit to the endangered species boma to see the Northern White rhinos as well as the other endangered species. Return to Camp for a snooze, and lunch and in the afternoon, embark on a walking safari to take in the sights and sounds of the bush, a magical experience not to be missed.
Full-board and overnight at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp.
A morning flight out of Nanyuki airstrip brings you to the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, and to your tented camp located on the banks of the Talek River.
Indulge in wildlife viewing from the open sided safari vehicles, or from the comfort of your tent, or one of the viewing decks in Camp.....the choice is yours for the taking. Evening game drives end up with sundowners, a perfect way to end the day.

The next 2 days are spent in the Mara, enjoying game drives in the Reserve.
