This short & sweet Safari is all about the vast, dusty plains of Tsavo.
Spend only 2 nights here in this secluded and exclusive 12-room eco-lodge located within Lumo Community Wildlife Sanctuary.
This brief Safari is most suitable, if you are already here in Kenya for other business but would like a glimpse of a safari. Or if you’re short on time and funds. Or if you’re just interested in a beach holiday and want to add on a short stay on safari. Maybe you’ve been on safari to other more popular destinations like Masai Mara, and you’re looking for a different experience.
Your mode of travel to Tsavo will be by SGR Madaraka Express train, 1st Class.
In these 2 nights, you can choose any activity available at extra cost at the Lodge, such as a Bush Breakfast, Bush Walk, Nature Trail, Ornithological Walk, Night Game Drive, Sundowner, Battlefield Tour, Cultural Tour at Limo, Lake Chala & The Farm Tour, Climb Mt. Kasigau or Taita Hills and visit Lake Jipe or Shetani Lava Flow & Mzima Springs. There’s so much you can do in just two days.
Your intercounty train departs Nairobi terminus at Syokimau, at 0800 hours, arriving Voi Station at 12 noon. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Lodge, about an hour and a half's drive. Check-in, lunch and afternoon free for a game drive or any activity of your choice.
You could opt to go for a night game drive before or after dinner.
Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Today is for you to decide what's on your agenda. You could go on either an early morning game drive or an afternoon game drive - or both. In between game drives, you could laze around the stunning infinity pool or take a spa treatment.
Or you could opt for one of the full day activities available like Lake Chala & The Farms Tour or visit Lake Jipe or the famous Shetani Lava Flow & Mzima Springs.
Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
After an enthralling 2 nights spent here in Tsavo, it's time to leave. After an early breakfast, depart the Lodge and transfer to Voi Station. Your train departs at 0955 hours, to arrive Nairobi's Syokimau Terminus at 1410 hours.
