Overview

This is the perfect safari for those looking for an exclusive safari that’s off the beaten path.

The southern parks in Tanzania are renowned for some of the largest wildlife populations in the country, as well as having some of the most dramatic and stunning scenery found anywhere in Africa.

This is a seamless 8-day safari connecting 2 National Parks; Ruaha and Nyerere (formerly Selous).

Activities on this safari include walking safaris and boating excursions, in addition to the conventional game viewing excursions.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • This safari is specifically for the intrepid traveler, who's already familiar with big game parks like the Serengeti or the Mara, and wants an exclusive safari in remote areas with abundant wildlife & birdlife.
  • This avid safari-goer will be open to viewing wildlife on boats or on walks, in addition to conventional game drives.
  • These 2 Parks; Ruaha National Park and Nyerere National Park, in Southern Tanzania, are off the beaten path. Not only do they have fewer safari visitors, these Parks also have some of the largest wildlife populations in Tanzania.
  • Ruaha is a photographer's dream, as the lodge is located on a rocky kopje overlooking a magnificent valley of baobab trees.
