The Sanctuary consists of 4 luxury private houses, situated in 6500 acres of its own wildlife conservancy, on the far northern escarpement of the Laikipia Plateau, with tremendous views of MtKenya, the sacred Ol Olokwe, theMatthewsRangeand the Karisia Hills. In the conservancy can be found African dog, greater kudu, leopard, hyena (striped and spotted) and klipspringer.

Each of the 4 houses come with a butler, valet, guide, and askari, and these are

The Chief’s House – sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms and is decorated in the African contemporary style. This combines a cool, modern interior with African art, fabric and artifacts. It has an open fire in the sitting room, a plunge pool on the outer deck and the master bedroom has an outdoor bath, for candlelit bathing.

The Sultan’s House – sleeps 2 to 4 people in 1 or 2 bedrooms and is decorated in Lamu style. Fine plaster carvings and lavish furnishings under a papyrus roof. It has one huge bedroom, but another bedroom can be created from the enormous sitting/dining room.

The Colonel’ House – sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms and is decorated Campaign style i.e like the bush home of a military man. It has brass bound furniture, oriental carpets and a beautiful sofa in front of an open fire and its 2 bedrooms have a dressing room and a sunken bath. There is a plunge pool in the courtyard.

The Eyrie – sleeps 2 people in one room and is decorated in African retro style. The house is perched at the top of a kopje and has a circular bedroom with a huge round bed, and an outdoor double rock bath with awesome views.

The Sanctuary has horizon swimming pool,  a library with a stained glass dome, and on top of the library is the viewing deck with an open fire, a bar and a GPS telescope for checking out the heavens.

The Spa at Lentille offers aromatherapy, reflexology, massage and beauty treatments.

Access to Ol Lentille from Nairobi, is 4 to 5 hours drive by road, charter flight to Lentille airstrip or scheduled flight to Nanyuki (operated by 2 airlines, once daily) followed by a one and a half hour road transfer to the lodge.
