The Camp is situated in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, close to the confluence of the Mara and Talek rivers, and minutes away from the main wildebeest crossings during the migration.  Overlooking large pools frequented by hippo and crocodile, offering some of the best big cat viewing in the area, the Camp is a seasonal one, set up from June to October and again from December to March. Home to the Beaton family, the Camp has 7 spacious tents, with flush toilets and safari showers, and the hosts Claire & Rob, together with the owners, Gerard & Rainie make time to join their guests for lunch and dinner.

Actitivities include game drives, wildlife viewing on foot, with experienced Maasai and Ildorobo guides, cultural visits to the Maasai and Ildorobo villages together with an insight into bushcraft, bush picnics & sundowners.

Rekero Camp lies 5 hours drive from Nairobi, or 1 hour away by scheduled flights operated twice daily, by two airlines.
