This is the private home of the owners of Borana Ranch, and can accommodate guests when they are not in residence. The house, built by two brothers looking for the ideal country home outsideNairobi, was considered one of the most opulent in its time, with antiques fromIreland, china fromLondonand furniture from Rajasatan. The new owners have recreated its former glory, resulting in a wonderful tapestry of styles and textures. The House can accommodate 10 persons, with extra room for children, nannies or even safari guides.
The house is fully staffed, attentive yet discreet, and has a heated swimming pool, with a pool house complete with bar, kitchen and bathroom facilities, as well as a clay tennis court and large lawn that can be used for football or polo.

Laragai House is accessible by road from Nairobi (5 hours drive), by private charter flight to Laragai airstrip, by private charter flight to Borana Ranch, or by scheduled flight to Lewa Downs (once daily).
